Newport Afternoon Milonga
Saturday November 4, 2006 12:30pm

Saturday, Nov. 4, the Newport tango community is celebrating its first
birthday with a Birthday/tea milonga from 12:30-2:30 at The Ark, a new
dance floor in an old movie theater, in downtown Newport at 453 S
Coast Hwy. Jim Thurmond is DJ. The milonga is free...donation jar at
door for DJ.
Mood Area 52
Friday December 1, 2006 5pm

On Friday, Dec 1, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Mood Area 52 will perform acoustically at Cafe Perugino. Cafe Perugino is warm, dry, and the high rafters and rustic brickwork may trick you into thinking you are in a town with reasonable architectural standards. This monthly free show allows you to flaunt your erudition as you shop for locally made art at the downtown galleries, or purchase reasonably priced yet aesthetically breathtaking T-shirts and CD's from Rocketboy Arts.
Mood Area 52
Saturday December 30, 2006 9:30pm

9:30pm - 1:00am, at Lucky's Tavern, around the corner from the Tango Center, which has a milonga the same evening. Do both! Come to downtown Eugene!
Newport
Saturday January 6, 2007 8pm

There will be a milonga Jan 6th 8 - 11pm $10 (refreshments included)

Rick's note: This is a converted 1930s era theater, filled with antiques.
It is an amazing dance venue that has to be seen to be believed.
