Run an all-ages, extremely public community center dedicated to the music & dance of Argentine Tango. Run milongas every Friday & Saturday night. Provide a space for people to practice and teach Tango music & dance. |

The Tango Center will make Tango as popular as social dance was in Eugene 100 years ago, when half the town would go out dancing on a weekend. It will initiate a movement of widespread popular social dance throughout the country.

The Tango Center will provide the highest quality milongas in the country, with good live music, good DJ-ing, excellent pre-milonga classes (perhaps at several levels), excellent performances, a friendly atmosphere & welcoming community, with dancers at all levels. |

The Tango Center will be a catalyst for the local Tango economy, making it possible for local teachers, organizers, musicians & performers to make a living at Tango in Eugene. |

The Tango Center will host visiting dancers & musicians, in order to increase the level of quality & excitement for the dance locally. |
